And even then, from what I've read, Blender is supposed to be easier than other modelling programs like Maya or 3DMax (sp?). The only thing I can think might be easier than Blender is Google Sketchup.

Exactly, the only thing it's good for, imo, is quick sketches of buildings or furniture.

Since in the picture you're using is a Roman nose then it would have sort of a lump in the middle. You should also maybe look at some other pictures of similar noses to see how they work. Also, noses like that have a sort of ridge in the middle that you left out.

Sketchup wasn't exactly meant for free style modelling. It is mainly for architects.
