I've read the whole series- Really awesome. I've always been fascinated with Greek mythology and i enjoy Riordan's spin on it. Although i haven't read the 'second' series of books...

I read the 1st three. They're OK.

I read the series, and I really liked it for a while, but I realized it wasn't exactly the best choice for a read. I mean, I appreciate its use of Greek mythology, but the series isn't all too compelling in my opinion.
But if you like it, that's fine.

That's probably another thing with me; even though I'm American, I'm more used to British writing and I, in fact, write stories and sometimes even talk in a British manner.

I thought they were okay, my main complaint is that Percy was way too powerful. Most mythological heroes defeat one or two or three monsters in their lifetime, Percy beats every monsters in Greek mythology within a couple of books.
