Re-implement the stretch blocks

set stretch to (100)
change stretch by (10)
These blocks are very useful but were removed once upon a time. They should be re-implemented again.

Re: Re-implement the stretch blocks

I support, I think it should be like

change [x v] stretch by [10]
and the same for setting stretch though, so you can adjust the x and y stretch separately.

Also a reporter block that reports the current x/y stretch value would be nice too.

Re: Re-implement the stretch blocks

This will highly promote 3D engines. Support. Including a Taper Block would be nice, as it would allow FULL textured 3D.

Re: Re-implement the stretch blocks

Maybe they could have deform effects (taper, twist, bend, stretch, etc.) in the "change [] effect by ()" and "set [] effect to ()" blocks?

You could still do it with only the stretch block...in a highly convoluted way.  tongue

Re: Re-implement the stretch blocks

...Wait. I've used Scratch for over 4 years and I don't recall seeing a stretch block.

When was that implemented?

Re: Re-implement the stretch blocks

A stretch block would be very useful for making 3D games. I support.
