"Camera" button...

My camera (under costumes) button for some reason instead of the webcam shows whatever my parents are watching on TV... my OS is windows vista...

but it doesnt work properly
say they wanted to make a stop motion project. how would they do that without having to take a bunch of pictures on a different camera then uploading them to the computer then importing all the costumes

Yeah, I seriously have no idea what's going on. Try turning off your wireless receiver/radio.

Maybe because it's using your Wifi, it messes with your camera. Try checking your webcam driver and making sure that the webcam on your computer is the primary webcam.

Do you have to different cameras connected to the wifi and possibly getting signal from the wrong one???

Go into control panel and find Devices. Then find your webcam and right-click>set default.

try turning of your internet access (turn off wifi and unplug any ethernet cables)
and then try it
