I think Scratch is moving from a small programming language to a high-class professional tool.

It needs widescreen, deleting broadcasts, right-click (probably only in the downloadable version), and hiding\showing lists

This is indescribably epic. I am using it online and the paint editor is not available but however it is so cool. The webcam idea could allow you to make a virtual orchestra or play drums with just your hands or something. The cloning this will save a lot of time and space in games which will help a lot. It's all great but a suggestion which we have come up with is to have a multiplayer function. So basically you could have a game where participants could play with/against each other at the same time! They could collectively save a highscore and do collaborative stuff. ROCK ON though guys awesome new update WHEN WILL IT BE OUT I ALREADY CANT WAIT ANY LONGER

i found out the fonts in the paint editor!
(all you have to do is on macs save source and you can see the fonts if you open the source)

Hey, I like the old 404 page! Put DaveTy's pic back on!
But really, the new 404 page looks kind of plain now that the blocks-in-the-box picture is gone.

with the
define block [hi]block you can drag a variable into the
hi // part.

I was thinking about quitting Scratch to move onto a more complicated programming tool, but when i heard about 2.0, i decided that I would stay.

New idea: If you could make sprites active in only certain scenes, that would make it easier to make stuff like title screens and level select menus.
Another new idea: If you could make reporter/boolean blocks like this
for the
<clicked?>block
<true/false>to true
<true/false>to false
report<true/false>This would report true of false based on whether the sprite was clicked.

Scratch is going to be so cool, but i don't like it that they will be able to change your project online....
They can‘t ovetwrite your project, it‘s like viewing it with Scratch Program. They can still remix, though.

sorry if this is off topic, but...
a new block should be like this:if (variable) is set to (number) stop all
