Most likely happening. It'll have better integration with the new Scratch site, which is done in Django (I believe).

OK, while talking to Lightnin i asked him about it, and he said it will.
I don't feel like having this closed right now though, in case anyone wants to discuss it.

It'd be too much of a drastic change for me (I don't adapt well to changes) and I think they're fine the way they currently are.

The data thing is a really big issue. Lightning and I we're talking about this previously a while back and one of the big issues is transferring the data might be difficult (if not impossible), so it's very likely that the forums will start off fresh, with the FluxBB forums archived but still accessible. But it's still too early to tell since Scratch 2.0 is still in the works and much still needs to be done.

Looking at the Django website, though, it looks like it has an option to set up the forums with a classic PunBB setup - given that the current Scratch Forums is based on FluxBB (which, in turn, is based on PunBB), maybe the forums might not really change much in terms of aesthetics and feel.
