Exactly. Anything can be unobtainium. It could do anything as well. Therefore, our time travel/FTL/whatever theories could be proven.

Onto the actual thread, I have a new discussion point: parapsychology.

BUT WE'RE NOT DONE WITH TIME!!

But parapsycology is cool too.
Thats like out-of-body experiences and telepathy, right?

Yes.
I know someone who's had OOOBEs and instead could feel from the consciousness of animals. She knows what it's like to die, because once she had one in a squirrel that got hit by a truck. O_O

Considering your friend has these weird visions/experiences, don't you think he/she could be the protagonist of Final Destination 6?

Re: Theoretical Physics

Rather than discussing such a cliche topic, why don't we move into a new one.

This will probably be a bit too hard for most of you, but hear me out.

A swampland is the opposite of a landscape.

I did not mean for swamplands to become the aspect of the discussion, but to base theories around the concept of a swampland. I might have worded that a bit too vaguely.

Re: Theoretical Physics

I will not be able to participate in this for a bit, as I just saw Back to the Future, so all of my theories will involve a flux capacitor.  tongue

Re: Theoretical Physics

Okay... just watched Imaginging the 10th Dimmension again. Now I can discuss.

And TobyFork, did you know that your signature is a 2-D rendering of a 3-D shadow of an object in the 4th dimmension?

It's a tesseract, right? A 4D hypercube?

You believe every show you watch about science? Some of those shows are just crazy, it's like saying everything on the history channel is true even though they have Ancient Aliens on 3 hours a day(not joking, it's like that).

Re: Theoretical Physics

I personally think that time travel defies the laws of entropy, seeing as entropy cannot be reversed, which time travel would do.

No, watching it just restored my sanity. Also, it's a theory, NOT a TV show. The link is in the topic post.
