I was updating my game, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DaScratcher101/2342062, Scratch Snatch, and I tried to share it. When i did the usual way i updated it, it didn't work. I just decided to save it, and when i saved it said: Trying to rename a file Scratch Snatch already exists. Then i clicked OK, and it said what the title of my topic is! Anybody know what happened?!

Where are you saving it to? Do you have enough working memory?

That happened to me before when trying to override a sprite I worked around the problem by deleting the old sprite and then exporting.
Yeah that was about sprites, but it's probably the same problem ^^'

I had this problem earlier too when teaching a class

Do you use a Mac? If so, it's easy to lock a folder so that it's read only, and perhaps you accidentally did so.
If nothing works, I suggest you backup your project (via a separate hard drive, or try another place in your computer like your desktop) just in case, and then delete the scratch program, and then re install it.

It's not memory--I deleted all but 10 of my projects to make room but still has the same issue. :s
