I know it might be useless, but I would enjoy it!

There isn't really a way you could represent that as an image.
Personally, I prefer the text XD.
It conveys more meaning.

My interpretation of that is XD: is the whole emote due to the lack of caps in the A of "a smiley"

A better way to implement this is using word smileys, such as:

Sure, if you provide them with an image to use, they can just add that smiley with the Easysmiles modification.

I'm pretty sure they won't though, they haven't ever added any custom smileys.
