Re: Scratch in Logisim

It's awesome, because it allows you to test electrical circuits without costing a penny in money.

If I could actually make it, I'd make a real-life Scrogisim as real hardware in the real world!

Re: Scratch in Logisim

I've uploaded a screenshot of Scrogisim; I also have a Scress circuit but it's not as good.

(Click if it does not show up)

Notice that I have more than one Memory Slot holder -- and the LOCATION DATA subcircuit is an incorporated ROM aswell. So there's a lot of memory activity!

I also have a bit of information about the memory-- according to the lower right, the total bits of active memory go up to 28 bits (however the timer is not really active-- make that 24 bits).

Re: Scratch in Logisim

Beta 2.5 changes some things:
- Added simple win-detector: a programmer can now make simple games in Scrogisim.
- Deleted the timeboard.
- Scress, the main circuit was deleted. Scrogisim will be the first release of Scratch in Logisim.

It is pretty complicated -- and I got things wrong lots of times. But not giving up gave me an early finish.  wink

Re: Scratch in Logisim

I have released the first Scrogisim version that is not a beta. Use the link above to redownload the updated Scrogisim.

Updates:
- memory increased from 4 bits to 24 bits
- number of 'slots' can now be chosen from 0 to 2^24
