I think that new Scratchers should be required to read the sticky's in each of the forums before they post their first post in the forum. They will have to agree that they have read it before they can start posting. Tell me if you don't know what I mean.

Well, I think they learn well enough if a mod tells them to read the sticky before posting anything. When a mod told me to read Chrishcb's sticky READ THIS BEFORE SUGGESTING ANYTHING before suggesting anything, I almost cried.

Not all of the stickies are necessarily important to new scratchers. Besides, everyone makes mistakes. If someone's first post is about the wrong thing in the wrong forum, so what? People can learn from the past, & become a better scratcher that way rather than being forced to read all the stickies.
