So is this second one ToSWF ?
No. It is the same like the other with the only difference that it uses the Flash Player.
But why do you need a "ToSWF"? The Flash player is swf!
I was just wondering if it converted to .swf or to .jar

I'm on a mac.
I GOT IT TO WORK!! Just go to the scratch wiki and follow the steps for making a .jar file and once you get it to work, click show in finder and get info. Then, copy the image you wish to have as the icon and paste it up in the top left corner of the "info" window where the cup of coffee icon is. Viola! You have a .rar file with it's own icon.
Hope this works. Let me know if you need any help. Email me at [Removed by moderator - [please don't share personal contact information.]
GOOD LUCK!

For the Mac version...I have a question. I downloaded BYOB and made a little test project on there but when I hit compile project and saved it. It's saved as "Samurai.ypr" Why isn't it .app?

Maybe if you wanted to embed in a webpage as flash

That happens with me as well, it used to work but now it doesn't. I have no idea, but it seems to be a mac only problem. Try using the Advanced way. It's better anyway

Well, you obviously did something wrong. Try to reread the steps and see if you did everything right.

I can't ptogramm with Flash.
But why do you want Flash? Why no Java Applets?
I'm always fine with .jar, but I would like a way to embed scratch games in the flash player to my website. I found an article in the wiki and it didn't work.

...Thanks but no thanks. Tried the process over again and no results. I open my application and it's a blank grey box.
Have you uploaded your project online? Does it work on the Java player?

I opened a sb in Byob and Compiled project in offline mode. It came up with a cmd program and I closed it and it came up with an error. Help? Thanks!
A cmd program? Are you saying the file extension was .cmd?

There was a pop-up with a label of Byob on it in a cmd program.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it to work

I have no idea. Try renaming it to .sb and then compiling it with ToJar. It may work
