Not to be nit-picky, but it seems like the above criteria is geared mostly at games and animations. What about things that fall outside that genre, like simulations?

Well, what other criteria could I add for animations and simulations? I'll be happy to add them in.
Physics?
Mathematics?

Like say, by "playable" I mean the controls of the game. Whether the game's easy to play and understand, like super mario brothers, or tetris; they'd be easily playable. Or if the controls are a bit more awkward and difficult (like turok 2, or south park 64 in my oppinion, idk if anyone agrees).

Oh, okay. In that case, I think playability is the most important

I think programming is more so, because good controls, but glitchy isn't very good.

You've got point actually! Okay, playability and programming are tied then

I would think that programming is the most important.

Actually, my nit-pickyness is more about making the categories inclusive for all types of projects. For example, a simulation doesn't usually require a storyline at all; so if were to base our criteria on simulations, storyline might be considered a zero, but in comparison to games and animation, storyline can be pretty important.
Maybe you might want to replace "Storyline" with "innovation"? Basically, how original is the idea behind the project. I think that's more inclusive to all types of projects.
Also, maybe instead of "playability", "control" might be a better word. You don't necessarily play all projects, but most project do require some degree of control (for example, in consideration of something like a tutorial projects, some of the best ones are those that allow a user to control the pace at which the tutorial runs).

Um... this isn't a "rate my project" thread, you know ._.
