Re: Signatures...

What kind of signature are you looking to make?

I make just about all of mine in MS Paint or with actual materials then scan it

Does it take up a lot of space on your computer? Does it make your computer go slower?

Re: Signatures...

I'd say use GIMP, its easy to use and doesn't take up much space.

Its less that 100 MBs in size, It may slow down you computer a bit if you have it running, but not noticeably if you have a relatively good computer.

It is technically Image manipulation software, but it is especially good for making banners, sigs, and logos, I actually prefer in over Photoshop CS5 in that regard.

Re: Signatures...

The one I have now was made using http://logotypemaker.com/

It's completely free but I made mine better using Photoshop and Fireworks.

Re: Signatures...

Gimp.
It's a little better for sigs than PDN. I've used it in the past.
Here'a a couple of examples,

Wow, I didn't know how good GIMP was at graphic design! How long did it take to make those?

Usually around 30-60 mins, but some of the more complex ones can take up to 3 hours..

Time flies when you are working on something though, an hour feels like 10 minutes.
