Here goes: Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, They Might Be Giants, Leathermouth, Bring Me The Horizon, Avenged Sevenfold, Flyleaf, Mindless Self Indulgence, Metallica, New Found Glory, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon!) Panic! At the Disco, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Wheatus (Tenage Dirtbag FTW!), Slipknot, Megadeth, 30 Seconds to Mars, Gorillaz (I only really like Clint Eastwood but oh well XD) Simple Plan, Blink 182, System of a Down, Angels & Airwaves, Mastodon, Paramore, Evanescence.
Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts is my favourite insult now as well...
Bully: You idiot, who do you think you are?!
Me: Running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, tearing love apart...
Bully: O_O *backs away slowly*
Is that enough? XD
I like the red ones
and
AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Eminem
Guns n' Roses

Lol, just kidding . I like The Raconteurs and The White Stripes.
Yeah, Jack White's great. I think he's one of the most original and talented guitarists of our time. The best thing he's done, IMO, is Elephant. Jack knows how to combine his interesting guitar with Meg's minimalistic drumming, and Elephant shows it at their best.

I like Icky Thump and Elephant, and for The Raconteurs my favorite album is Counselor of the Lonely.

A lot of people on this thread really seem to like My Chemical Romance.
I do too, but I don't think they're the best band ever or anything. They're underrated many other places, but overrated on here, IMO.I'd have to disagree D:
Why are they overrated just HERE?
Their songs have actual meaning, and they can/have saved lives. Their songs are all really catchy, yet have a deep meaning. Plus Gerard's vocals are at times, haunting... such as in Vampires Will Never Hurt You.
Try their older stuff? I know lots of people started hating them after Danger Days :cI do know their older stuff. In fact, I'm familiar with all four of their albums. I liked Bullets, even though I think that the vocals and production really improved on the later albums, I loved the energy on 3 Cheers and the originality of TBP, and thought Danger Days was pretty good, despite some filler ("Party Poison" in particular).
Overall, I like the band, and think they are far superior to some bands they get lumped in with (e.g. Hawthorne Heights), but a lot of their fanbase (not you, don't worry) is extremely annoying, and they are far from perfect. I don't like the bad reputation they have among some people, but they aren't the best band ever or anything like that.
On a side note, if you like MCR you might like a band called AFI. Their best album's Art of Drowning, and Black Sails in the Sunset is a very close second. Awesome stuff.
Hathorne Heights suck ._. People lump all the fans into the emo-kid stereotype and it's annoying D: I know I'm annoying but I hate it when people mock the MCRmy~
I'll look them up. ^^
The video for Vampires Will Never Hurt You, I must admit, is horrible XD Bad camerawork and stuff.

Hm. I didn't realize that you liked hardcore metal bands. Cool XD
LOL, none of these are hardcore metal bands.
Well, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Slipknot seem like hardcore metal bands in my opinion. Unless there is even more hardcore metal out there. o_o

I didn't exactly mean it as a genre. I just meant "hardcore" as an adjective in general. ^_^

The first one that comes to mind is jethro Tull
There are other ones light neutral milk hotel and wham! but those are just a few, I have over 400 artists on my iPod
and I am proud
Offline
Three Days Grace
Disturbed
The Dandy Warhols
That's pretty much it. The rest of the stuff on my iPod is just a few songs from one band and a few from another.

I don't have a favorite band, but there's this Russian song stuck in my head. Here are the English lyrics. (I edited them to make sense)
There are electronic plates in my head,
300 gigabytes without delay and hitch.
Maybe that's why I'm not too wordy:
Because my brain is super-mega-electronic!
In my chest a heart of metal beats.
I don't know love, is it much or little?
May be that's why I spend so little of electric current:
Because I never laugh or cry.
I am a super-robot made of iron,
With a super-electronic brain and super-piezo ignition.
I am a super-robot, nothing is hard for me,
I don't smoke, don't drink and don't boot out of anything.
There are very complex processes inside me,
An electronic hailstorm, and sophisticated processor.
Maybe that's why I am so cute:
Because I look very unusual.
Sometimes I sleep, turning off the doubts,
And plunging into the shining of electronic dreams.
Maybe that's why I mean so much to people:
Because I will never botch up with anything.
I am a super-robot made of iron,
With super-electronic brain and super-piezo ignition.
I am a super-robot, nothing is hard for me,
I don't smoke, don't drink and don't boot out of anything,
Don't boot out,
I don't boot out,
Don't boot out!
I don't know where the song is originally is from, but...
