What mac needs is a super computer, because right now their computers aren't too great

If your a good developer, then you'll earn back the money you spend, and might even gain. They do that so not everyone can develop apps, only skilled worthy people. If you don't want to pay the money, then you shouldn't be a developer.

EXACTLY. Existing developers, sure, but kids? The future? If someone has never programmed, will they pay and possibly fail?

You need to make mistakes in life to succeed. At least Apple isn't like Microsoft, making you pay $60 a year to play Xbox Live. You can't even earn money from that, becoming a developer you can. Anyways, you can always learn to program, you don't need to be a developer to learn, you need to be a developer to publish your creations.

It's technically legal, it's just against the license. Breaking the EULA is not the same thing as breaking the law (you void the warranty and won't get support and stuff like that). So the cops won't come to your house or anything.

You can develop on either platform for either platform (or, in some cases, for both platforms). Also, as I see it, Mac OS X is more oriented toward being user-friendly, whereas Windows didn't start out that way and still isn't totally user-friendly (you need to know a few things to run it effectively).

What if you're just a hobbyist programmer and don't want to charge for your software? Some people are nice like that, you know.

Irrelevant argument. Apple isn't in the gaming industry (not directly anyway *cough*iPod*cough*), so why compare it to Microsoft charging for Xbox Live?

Sorry, didn't quite catch what you said?  PCs are for gamers? Presuming you mean they play games, well, I haven't played a video game on my computer for 2 1/2 years.  Yep.  I use mine for animating.

Exactly.  One computer can be better for one person.  I can't buy fancy programs, I have to stick to basics. If you have money, you can get a Mac.  IMO they are more costly to use, since it appears you need to purchase almost everything.  The point of this topic was to show that Macs don't suit everyone.  I like Windows.  Someone else might like Macs.  Just don't shove it in anyone's face.  I applaud you.  Really
