But I use my computers for school mostly because I have a lot of tech-based classes.

If you are going to be using it for fun, then I would say go with the 150 gb.

2000 terabytes is like, 2 million gigabytes, isn't it?...

I meant 2 terabyte or 2,000 gigabytes.

Okay, that's legit.

SSD is a huge plus. I'd go with the SSD and hat a external HDD.

Re: Hard Drives: How Small is Too Small?

My laptop has 320GB. Despite being loaded down with 3 (heavy use) years worth of crud, I still have about 100GB free.

I would go for 640GB, or maybe more.

Re: Hard Drives: How Small is Too Small?

My dad's first computer had a 16kb hard drive, and he managed along fine (but that was back in the day when storage space was actually savoured!)

Realistically, unless you're downloading hundreds of full-length movies, 128GB should do the trick; even if you are, there's no reason to have more than 256GB, as, for a netbook, 640 is rather insane. Personally, I've never had a computer with more than a 160GB drive.
