What's your stream point?
Also, the Icecast server doesn't appear to be up...
Stream point? You mean stream port? My port is 8000. If you meant Point, then I feel really really really stupid. Also, yes, the icecast server is running, and has been running for the past day. I did however have to restart my computer, but I started the icecast server again. Do I have to do something after I restart the server?

Yeah I do mean stream point. And it doesn't appear to be working. Did your IP change?

I think veggie wants an icecast server. This website doesn't appear to have icecast, just shoutcast.

You know, we could just use a free online host, couldn't we? Have you ever heard of listen2myradio.com

1. Fastcast4u is Shoutcast and 64kbps. NOPE.
2. Listen2MyRadio doesn't work for everyone, only random select people throughout the world. NOPE.

Ok, well I don't know what we're going to do about my server not working, because my IP didn't change or anything, and I'm still stuck on stream point. I feel like such a noob.

Have you tried viewing it from your external IP?
Oh wait have you checked to see the computer's internal IP didn't change because of the restart?

ipconfig on the Icecast computer.
Is there another name for internal IP, or am I just looking in the wrong place. There's nothing that says internal IP in ipconfig.

Is the IP it lists on either of those for the IPv4 address the same as the address on whatismyip.org.

No. The first one starts with 192.168, so I know it can't be that one, and the second one is different. Do you want me to hamachi, or email you the second one? (You do need that one, right?)

Okay so basically check to see if the port forwarded IP is the same as the first one.

Yeah, they're the same.
And are you sure the Icecast server is running and not just open?

It was before, now it's not. Try it now. Wow! We may have just gone threw all of that work for nothing.
The times I feel like such an idiot.

Alright. I better start getting to bed as well. It's about 12:30 here. Sorry about how hard I'm being. I wish I could do better. I'm going to try to do some research.

Goto your router settings and set it to accept a virtual server on ur internal ip , or forward a port to your internal computer port . simple as that , though i would suggest NOT to use ur home computer as you might get attacked by some notorious people over the web which gain pleasure in making people cry

I don't even want to host this on my computer, but I can't find a good free icecast server, that veggieman agrees on
