Re: 10mb rule

Well I suppose that theoretically you might be able to hack into MIT's servers and disable it, but legally, no.

Who would be sad enough to hack the server just to upload a project bigger than 10mb though?!  tongue

Re: 10mb rule

Have you tried compressing your images and sounds?  That can reduce the size of your projects significantly.

To answer this question, that's because it's all the online Java player can handle without becoming laggier than usual. Although that limit will go up when Scratch 2.0 with its Flash-based player comes out.  smile

Re: 10mb rule

Save project to computer;  Upload to mediafire.
Post pretty much blank project;  Post link to newly mediafire uploaded project in description.

Re: 10mb rule

If you have too many sounds, you may need to take them out or some of them out.

Re: 10mb rule

Yeah, sound files are normally the problem. But if swifty2 can upload large projects, I think most people will be able to  smile

Re: 10mb rule

Wow, that's a lot! Maybe you should make your project in 2 separate parts.

That should probably work. I've had 23 megabyte projects upload to the site just fine after compression.  smile

Awesome! It must be a really good project if it uses up that much space! May I have a link?  big_smile

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
