Exactly.

I agree with you on the "Grammar and Spelling" part. Lots of people on the forums post bad grammar and spelling and it is hard to understand. I have a question, though. What if you asked somebody to clarify and they answer back with a post that is as hard to read as the first one?

i agree if you're using extreme text speak and abbreviations and stuff, but if you're just not doing capitalisation and doing odd line breaks and little punctuation on an internet forum, it doesn't really matter because everyone can understand you :I

Ok, what's the difference between mocking grammar and asking for better grammar?
I need to know for future reference

So we shouldn't tease people about poor grammar/spelling/punctuation?

No...the title turns gray when it's closed.

This topic has a good place in the Forums, because the Misc. Forums are by far the most popular of the sections in the Forums.
I know this is a bit off-topic, but I see your signature is now an animation/GIF.

Somehow the blue text in the topic post bugs me, as if it's begging for an underline or something

No...the title turns gray when it's closed.
And you can check if a topic's stickied by looking for the "Sticky:" title before its name in the topic list Stickied topics stay at the top of the first page too; people can easily find them this way.
(Sorry for continuing the off-topic conversation ^^)

Well, that's just people choosing to use alternate spelling and grammar as a personal style. I can usually understand what they are saying, so it's all good

I like blue
Remember, if it doesn't get in the way of the message, it's probably not important.

You've got a decision to make then...do you ask again for clarification? Or do you accept that you probably can't help this person and just not respond? Either way is okay. What's not okay is to make fun of the grammar or take the thread off-topic with spam posts.

Oh. I personally have a hard time understanding it sometimes, and have to take a few seconds to figure it out. I think it would make it harder for newer scratchers.

Full stops (called periods in the US) are also pretty good for reading. Sometimes when people give me a big chunk of raw text I can get so much from it that I don't understand what they want to say.
Also, can't is cannot, wan't isn't a word.
