This is a good way of showing people what the BBCode looks like, but it doesn't actually show the code for it. It just shows the result.
I would suggest putting the code in a code box like this:

Code:

This is a code box

So that way, you could show people how to actually do it. Here is an example:
Let's say you want to teach people how to use the [img]tag. If you just typed in the code, it would how up like this: http://www.liberty.k12.mo.us/computerclubfiles/scratch.jpg
But, if you added a code box, it would show up like this:

Code:

[img]http://www.liberty.k12.mo.us/computerclubfiles/scratch.jpg[img]
