Re: What inspired you to use Scratch and why?
The first ever time I saw Scratch was on a Mac at school. I thought "Eh, it's probably something the teachers use".
A few months later, I was searching for online Mario games and a Scratch project came up.
2 days later, I found another Mario project. This time it had the Scratch Cat helping Mario. I thought, "The same cat! Too bad this 'Scratch' thing you probably have to pay for and my dad would never let me.". I looked in the downloads page for a trial, and then I saw it was free. I downloaded it. I was up 'n' running in less than 2 minutes. My first projects had "ME!" in the slot that says who made it.

took a class at the Science Museum of Minnesota called "Design your own adventure game" or something of the sort. I loved it.
Ask me what I'm doing, wait an hour than roll a die, if it's 4-6, I'm playing Skyrim, if it's 1, I'm eating, if it's 2-3 I'm programming.
