The Difference between A New Scratcher and a Scratcher
I've seen this question alot. So here is the answer for any New Scratcher who has this question.
How Many Secs do you have to wait between posts?

Can post in the misc forums?

Can have a signature?

You can apply for curator as a New Scratcher. Just be aware that you may not necessarily get picked, but you can still apply. As far as running in mod elections, you have to have been on the site for at least 6 months.

Maybe try posting a few more projects. From what I've seen main site activity is a bigger factor than forum activity in getting upgraded to Scratcher.

Even though it may not seem like it, you are still very new to the forums (you have not. even been on for two weeks). Just post some more projects, be active on the forums, abd you will become a Scratcher. It took me a month, and I posted like 10 posts a day.
