I started off using Alice from Alice.org, and then my dad told me about Scratch. It looked really cool, so I joined the website a couple of months ago. The username was inspired by a username somebody on EcoBuddies a virtual world I used to go on.

I was looking for an animation program.
But I found more than that. I found a new WORLD.

My teacher told me about it in 2007 at the meeting to discuss whether or not I should skip 4th grade

In third grade I really wanted to make a MMO website, but I had to settle for a Yola and I was installing widgets on it from Widgetbox, and one of them said "I made this on a site called Scratch".
AND THEN
We had mini laptops in fourth grade and it had a version of Scratch on it and I downloaded and subsequently joined Scratch that summer
Yay

I wasn't exactly inspired to use Scratch. My Programming I professor was using it as a way to teach C++. I never thought I would stick to using it for fun, but I guess I did. ^^

Game Developing. Basically, when I first saw it, I was bored silly. But then, we skip a few months, I get really bored, so I google scratch, I see one project; a game, I play it, and t inspired me GREATLY. if it wasnt for that game, I may have never wanted to be a game developer.

Got introduced to it in 8th grade and fell in love with the ability to create stuff on a computer...and so the legacy began.

I just use either the Scratch Paint Editor or MS Paint (the old one that came with my Windows XP laptop) to make all the drawings. ^^

I made somthing awesome in paint, and wanted to make a game with it. I tried flash, but it didn't work. So, I searched 'free animation maker flash scripts' and I came up with a flash app and scratch. Scratch was also the name of a program my school used (I never used it before), so I thought it was the same thing. It was. I made my first project, and I wanted to share it. I made an account and did so. (I joined in '07 BTW)
After that, I discovered the forums when I needed a question answered. I became a fourm camper (person who stays on fourms all the time) from that. And...
well, I've pretty much caught up to the present now, so...

My sister's friend told me about it.

Well, one day I was milling around on my bro's computer, and I saw a cat as one of the desktop icons.
"Ooooh! What's this?" I thought.
My curiosity got the best of me. I double-clicked on the icon and Scratch opened up. At first I thought, "What the heck is this?" But, I took some tutorials and got the hang of it. Soon I found out the website url and decided to visit it. All the awesome projects encouraged me to join the Scratch community.
The end.
Life story much?
