HI all,
I am starting a Scratch class in my school and I would like to select 8-10 kids from a group of 80.
Does someone encountered a quiz that I can give the entire group that will help me to identify the most suitable kids?
I believe we need to measure:
Motivation
Self learning and ability to solve problems
Curiously
Basic analytic skills
Etc..
Thanks
Ron

Give the group a task, which you think would challenge them, and make them find new ways of using scratch. This would use all of the things you said above. Motivation is it motivates them to try and get into the group. It allows them to solve problems if you give them a good task. They will be curious in order to find new ways of using scratch, etc.

I say, if they don't pay attention in class, or give up easily, they won't be able to find out how to use it and finish.
