If they made their own entry from scratch (no pun intended) and didn't download yours and change it, it doesn't count as a remix. Maybe that's what's going on?

If they didn't download and start their OWN project; then it wouldn't be counted as a remix. There has been such events where some remixs don't show as remixs. Although this happens very rarely and is normally the result of saving in different files and/or moving it a lot around your files.
