He wouldn't cancel it. He just did that as an advertisement ploy so people would make posts (like this one) and projects promoting the Scratch Awards. Don't worry

No, you are wrong, he said "Is anyone really into this anymore" And then he said that he would cancle if he thought no one is interested in it.
