Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

P.S. I´ll upload the project to this site as soon as I get through the first phase.
Time is scarse and I'm still trying stuff out but i´ll get there...

Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

SAPO Scratch seems to be the version that'll work on the Magellan computer with lower resolution. But you can also wait for Scrach 1.4. which will also support lower resolution devices.

Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

That's interesting. When is scratch 1.4 expected to come out and is there information
anywhere about new features? Don't want to bug you too much.

Regards

Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

update - new version of Scratch2Exe

I have updated Scratch2Exe, so now it works again with all Scratch projects (1.4 and before), plus with all BYOB projects. You can download Scratch2Exe here: http://chirp.scratchr.org/dl/ChirpCompiler-setup.exe

Please note that compiled projects only run on Windows XP or later, and that the compiler has some issues with pathnames containing apostrophes.

Enjoy!

Sorry, BoltBait, I don't know how to create a Scratch2App converter because I don't have a Mac. Perhaps a Mac guru can help...

Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

I am currently in the midst of downloading this  smile

It looks like a nice idea so i'll see if It works for me  big_smile

Edit: Works fine and quite a speedy download for me. The only problem I have is when I go to close chirp it won't go away. Alt F4 and Right click close also don't work  hmm
Edit again O_o: Ok it does close but only after warning me about low memory and lagging for about 5 minutes  smile

Edit 2: Only other glitch is that if I maximise the screen it goes black forever and still doesn't close.

Edit 3: Another thing that goes wronf for me is if you drag and drop a project into chirp a box appears saying 'could not read bad header' but the ok button on that box is inclickable meening it actually crashes.

Sorry if all thsese have been mentioned  smile

Re: Distributing Scratch Projects as Exe (sort of…)

we got a program to convert .sb projects to .exe files. Now how about having a program for converting .sb projects to .dol or .elf files so we can launch our scratch projects on the homebrew channel?
