No.

You should give your real opinions not just "WOOT YOU WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!". If people did that you would never know what people actually thought about you being a mod and then you might get annoyed when everyone had said you were great and that they'd vote and then you did really badly.

people should still have the right to express their own opinion though if they think other people are more qualified :I

there is a very obvious reason as to why were saying this, you know...
were saying this so when we get to the actual mod election and he loses, he wont be completely devastated.
