It might be because not everyone plays Kingdom Hearts so they're not familiar with the character. I've never played the game, so I don't know who Namine is (and thus Namine wouldn't be my first choice when I think of the word "witch").

I know.  The LOTRO community is fairly knowledgeable on the subject.

Well she's not technically dead.  After all, she's Kairi's Nobody, and there's evidence of Roxas still being alive (mainly Sora's ability to wield dual-keyblades), so it show be the same for Namine.  I mean, sure, she didn't have a Heartless counterpart, but it should be the same thing.

I thought that was Wizard of Oz
Unless this "Kingdom Hearts" incorporates Oz or whatever

It doesn't.  It's a video game series by Square Enix, and includes characters original, from Final Fantasy, and from Disney.  Tetsuya Nomura said that it was actually pretty easy to make the latter dark and solemn.  You should buy one of the games.  It's easily one of the best games IN HISTORY.

I hear the crying effect from the Witch from Left 4 Dead. It's chilling, your playing and all of the sudden you hear crying. You go closer to investigate and BAM!!! She rips you to shreds. CREHPEH

And Namine is different from all nobodies because she was made from Sora's heart. THhis happened because Kairi has no darkness in hers, being a POL and all.

I thought she was made from Kairi's heart, which made her a special Nobody because there was no darkness in Kairi's.  When she lost her heart when Maleficent captured her.

When I hear the word witch, I think of Mrs. Which from A Wrinkle in Time- Which, by the way, is FTW!
