I'll try and create a character! That would be fun!
But should it be an animal like Scratch Cat and Gobo, or a human?I think something that's similar to the Scratch Cat / Gobo illustration on the community moderator page would be best, just so we can kind of keep a consistent theme going. But it's probably hard to think of a character that's kind of like them...
Maybe you could use something else (creature or animal) from the sprite library, and kind of spruce it up or something? That might work with the theme. I'm not sure what exactly to recommend though.I was thinking maybe a bunny rabbit. We have a cat and a .... blob.. fish- thingy... so how about another pet like a rabbit or a dog?
I'll try and do that, but also do my own drawing too.ProgrammingFreak wrote:
Surprised I could do this in Pant. It's not that great. I may do more later...

Yeah, the page should show all those helping out with SDS, their role (Admin, Mod or Model Scratcher).

I'd love to make something actually pointing out how I do it. XD

How you do what?

I'm liking all of these so far. And it's making me think that the best graphic would contain several "curators" all together. I'm super busy right now, but later I might try to join the images of curators posted in this thread all together, and smooth out the style. If anyone else wants to try that first, that'd be great.

I'll try to come up with a combined image.

For the combined image, here's the single part of my avatar:

Woah, a little too scary I think. Is there a milder version?
Also, while it might be fun to imagine SDS curators as having badges, badges are something we aren't the biggest fans of. Might seem a little too policey.

Well here's my first try at combining several of these images in gimp.
The styles are kind of different, so I don't know how good it looks. But I like spirit of it.
Do you guys have any feedback? Or ideas on how to make it better? Feel free to remix, of course, to show your ideas for improvements.
BTW - here's the page where the final image will be placed (a work in progress):

What about this? I based it a bit off of MyRedNeptune's Mod image

No other version.
The badge is the grammar cop one I had in my sig at one point.

Cool! But I think it's too big, and the background may be too distracting. Remember, it has to fit on a webpage with a bunch of text around it (see above for a link to the page in progress). But I like Gobo's curator headband.

I like the page (http://info.scratch.mit.edu/SDS_Curators) so far!
So curators are: scratch_the_kat, poopo, yuliyamagri, lilacfuzz101, Scimonster, pokemongardevoir, JJROCKER and me!

That is really good!
One thing though - is Scratch Cat painting? Curators don't really paint.

Good point. Maybe turn the paintbrush into a mouse?
