Hi, I'd like you to approve [url removed by moderator, pending approval]. These forums are by Clank and I. We are a small community now, but we hope to grow. Although we do have a chat, we ensure that it is moderated almost 24/7.
Thanks, jsl.Hey jslomba, it seems your forum is much too new for approval (keep in kind that personal sites need to be up and running for about three months or longer). You can resubmit another request for approval when the site has been established around for a longer period of time.
The time halved? It used to be 6, if I recall correctly.
They halved it a while ago. My website was the second one to get accepted. (Before all the drama.) And if it hadn’t been three months, I would still be waiting.

Probably while I was away.

TVFlea, I believe you are supposed to contact the scratch team directly cause you are still posting the link to the unapproved forum on the forum.
Also, you have private messaging, and unless your private messaging is public, it is not up to standard following the scratch rules or stuff.
Ah. found it: 2. has established standards and moderation policies that are consistent with Scratch
private messaging is hard to moderate cause only a few people can see it.
Just a heads up.

Instead of linking to the site in your post, please just send the link via a report, since it keeps anyone else from seeing it. Thanks!
Reports aren't just for negativity and things that violate Scratch, right? I want to make sure- I also use reports for closing topics and things like that.

Go to NSM and read the ITopic about reports.
Too lazy to find it yourself? Clicky.

I’m pretty sure no one will hunt it down with the tempting link right there.

I would like to you to approve my website, Mini Universe ([Link removed - please use just the Report feature to give us the link]). It will be a virtual world... a lot later on! Now it's an educational website where people can use Scatch to share Planets (Games) and have the ability to report inappropriate planets. It also has censoring in usernames and planet names (uses "*" asterisk as replacement text). There is currently a private messaging system only for admins (Garlic and Gopher) and mods (Garlic and Gopher). I haved worked very hard for the last couple of months on it, to make it as secure, safe and kid-friendly as possible.
Thank you,
WindowsExplorer

Sounds like you have put a lot of thought into it! Do you feel that the site meets all the requirements in the first post, such as being up for three months, etc?

At the "Pencil Forums" before you enter them, you need to read the Forum Guidelines.
You shouldn't post links to unapproved forums, just send the link using the "report" button on your post and a scratch team member will get to it soon.

Woops! I didn't read the first post properly. Now the link is in my post. Anyway, you can't change the past

Hey Pencilmaster - nice site! But I do have some concerns. It looks like you are going to have forums on your site but they don't seem to be working yet. Forums can be quite complicated to set up right - let's wait until you have those working for at least 3 months before you start advertising on Scratch.
Forums seem to cause the most trouble since other people post stuff to them and it's difficult to make sure that everything they add is appropriate. Make sure you have read the security tips forum post and make sure you have set up some guidelines to tell people what they are allowed to post and that you have a method for dealing with posts that don't meet the guidelines.

Hi TVflea - we've looked your site over and are a bit concerned about the Private Messaging option that you've enabled for registered members. We don't allow PMing on Scratch since we prefer that things be out in the open so that they can be viewed by the general public and reported if something inappropriate is going on. However, we also recognize that it's your site and your responsibility and it probably isn't going to affect the content that casual visitors from Scratch are likely to see. So we're thinking it over - no final decision has been reached yet.

I wanted to put a chat room on my site when it was approved. Oh well.
Also, I will post my site in 2 months (it's been active for 1 month).

This site isn't mine, but I would like to place a request for Smallworlds Virtual World because it has a feature to share this image link (it gives BBCode) and give you 100 in-game points when they register, 1000 points when they level up.
I will report this post with the URL.
2 Rules of Smallworlds
- Don't swear, even "glitch" is blocked.
- No spam.
