Well, most RPGs include fighting, missions, worlds, items and lots of other creatures/characters. For example, the Pokemon games, RuneScape, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. You can either make an RPG based on something you really like, or you can make up your own characters and ideas.
Why not try something simple first? The best thing to start off with is making an RPG based on something you like. I'm making an RPG based on my favourite book series, the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. If you need any more help just let me know.
