Photo from camera

I have pictures from my camera downloaded onto my computer but how do you put them into a project?? HELP!!!

Click (or make) a sprite, click costumes, then go to the folder where you saved it, double click the picture. The (smaller window in scratch) should close. You will then have the picture in the sprite.

Also, you can make a new sprite, go to costumes, and click the camera button to take a new picture.

Ok, I'll explain  smile
First, find the folder where all your pictures are. In Scratch, go to Choose New Sprite From File (It is write next to Paint New Sprite), and go to the folder where your pictures are. Then, click on the picture and hit OK. Tada! You now have a photo in your project.
If I wasn't clear enough, please tell me, and tell me what you need me to clarify  wink

Simpler.
Go to the costumes pane and click "Camera". Click the camera icon to take a pic.  big_smile

I think bubble meant their actual camera...

Yes. Just go onto the background sprite, and create a new background. Then click 'import'. Then just select the photo you want and save it!
