I've never had a bad direct experience, but school systems need to think more of the kids.
Its sad how money is everything.
The kids enjoy their band program.
Honor the athletic kids.
The buses are kind of packed.
Cut the school bus budget.
Our teachers aren't very fun or in a good mood to spread to their students.
Cut some money for the higher ups.
Really, I could name so much more.
Sure, the economy is bad, but the school department could be a little less stupid and selfish.
I know right?!
My old school almost said that the people who DIDN'T live where my school was couldn't take the bus, but the people who DID live there could. I lived VERY far from school, and the bus was faster than carpool.

Weird, but that is how it is.

30/187? You do realize that's almost 1 in 6 people...it's kind of hard to call out that many people because it's not like you have just 1 person messing around. Instead of just complaining about it being unfair either take it in silence, talk to your parents about it, or talk to the principle about it in a respectful way.

. . . . My only hobby is programming. And I don't even consider myself a super-geek. Just casual level.

1 in 6 is not that much....
I have talked to my parents about it. Also, the principal, when he announced all this, sounded like nothing would change his mind.

Precisely. Suddenly every statement becomes an argument, on Misc and IRL.

Yeah, my school was just overly stupid.
The IT teacher didn't know anything about IT, so we spent the lessons on scratch and MS paint.
The PE teacher put me in inclusions (sitting in a cubical staring at a wall) for a month for getting my nose almost broken in a fight (which wasn't my fault, someone pushed me into a crowd of people) while the attacker got off with a warning.
The science teacher excluded me from school for 3 days for smelling of smoke.... in a science room after we had a lesson about combustion.
The art teacher forced us to draw stupidly boring things, like the broken cello she had laying about. I wanted to do manga, but whenever I did it got thrown away.
Bullying was very badly handled, the victim would be put in inclusions instead of having breaks to "stop them from being bullied" and the bully got off with it all.
The music teacher told us off for playing a song even though that was the song we were supposed to be playing.
Teachers would join in verbally bullying kids, even when they're in tears.
The PE teachers allowed fights, he even condones them if 2 kids are angry at eachother.
The English teacher was so busy teaching creative writing she didn't notice that most the kids don't even remember punctuation and spelling from year 3.
The maths teacher picked a random person from the register every lesson, whenever people did something wrong he would get the blame (was meant to be a guilt type of thing, but most the kids were happy that they could be bad and someone else would get the blame) and most the time it was magically me.
Any money over £20 gets taken off of you because it's apparently "drug money", I've lost over £100 over the last 3 years by this stupid rule.
The corridors had a strict 1 way system, if you walk past your class you had to walk round again.
They punish you in school for things that happen out of school (like things on facebook etc).
On cold days you could come home to find that most teachers had reported you for smoking on school grounds even though it was just steam and they weren't paying enough attention.
We weren't allowed to come into class until the set time, even though most the time there was snow up to your waist.
Teachers were hypocrites, I quote my math teacher "Don't [removed] swear!".
The last day before I moved to London to be home schooled was the best day of my life. Imagine being able to walk round, do what you like and nothing will happen, because they weren't allowed to give you detention the same day you got it I could do anything and I wouldn't be there the next day to deal with the punishment. Things like turning the gas tap on then setting it alight to make a flamethrower, shooting out the lights with an airsoft gun, being amazingly annoying in PE, drawing * and ponies on the whiteboard while the teacher left, moving teacher's things about to mess with their mind, rickroll the teacher while they do something, draw pentagrams on all the doors and throwing people's bags out the window made my last day awesome.

First bit: unfair... you should complain.. got an ipod? hide it in your pocket and hit record when a teacher starts swearing/abusing and then take it to the principal or police. IF you get discouraged, think about how sweet the revenge will be

It was allowed, the headmaster was as corrupt as the teachers.

I dunno where you live, but in Australia, a teacher would lose his/her job at the least for child abuse.

No P. E.?
Lucky. My PE was so lame, if we were in boots we couldn't change them to sneakers.
And they always forced us to play sports, which I honestly stink at. And to me, they're quite pointless.

No school. Good thing?
The PE teachers (plural) allowed fights, he (singular) even condones them if 2 kids are angry at each other.
So how many are there?
The English teacher was so busy teaching creative writing she didn't notice that most the kids don't even remember punctuation and spelling from year 3.

Yeah, this keyboard has easy to press keys and my mind sometimes goes faster than my typing, so sometimes I will have a few grammar mistakes.
PE was horrible, even having a heart condition didn't get you out of it.
