They're like creepy zombies. The kids act brainwashed...it's awful.
True. My high school supports gays, so there were huge protests and counter-protests.

Oh my gosh. I looked up Westboro Baptist Church, and there's a picture of one of their signs that says, "Thank God for 9/11".

Yeah they're nutjobs. Look at their web address. >:I

I know.
But seriously, the 9/11 thing angers me more than almost anything else they could say.
Because, when I was three, Dad and I saw 9/11 from the roof of our apartment building.

That's even worse... I wish I could go there and protest against them. And picketing funerals? I know people do that, but that's terrible, too!
EDIT: OH MY GOD! Look up Matthew Shepard on Wikipedia.
Do it.

Go here and look at the first pic and chart
I mean, DEATH PENALTY? Any country that has it illegal shouldn't, but death?! Seriously?!

THAT IS INSANE. I CAN'T THINK OF AN APPROPRIATE WORD FOR THOSE LAWMAKERS.

Nobody reads the bible (okay some do, I'm just generalizing so don't take insult) but they know what's 'good' and 'bad'. Being gay is apparently 'bad' in the bible and it's been around for hundreds of years of human history so that's why some people think of it as inappropriate: because they've been taught all their life by parents taught all their life that it's 'wrong'.So if you were taught that it's automatically right! Don't think for yourself! Just believe the garbage you've been spoon-fed all your life!
Okay so the stuff I was taught is garbage that I was spoonfed and the stuff you know is 'correct'. I don't think so, kid. And I told you to drop this already
And you lot, stop discussing the Westboro Baptist Church. They may seem like crazy idiots in our eyes but they believe they're doing the right thing (and this is religious discussion which is not allowed on Scratch). Discuss gay relationships or transeuxality but not this.

The fact that you misspelled every single one of those words wrong says otherwise.
Stop being such a [removed] pessimist! My spelling has nothing to do with my feelings about something! Are you actually trying to change my mind? And by the way, only one word was misspelled.

I've noticed a long off-topic spree here discussing Westboro Baptist Church. It's only peripherally related to the LGBT topic and the remarks about it are starting to sound like a religious discussion. Please keep away from that as we don't want to have to close the thread due to flaming.
Another thing I'm seeing a bit too much off is people focusing on the spelling and grammar of a post rather than the message. That's actually pretty rude. Please respond to the message rather than the style. If you must point out a spelling/grammar mistake, do it politely and make it a "by the way" aside in your response and not the total focus of your post

Okay. Sorry. I was just fuming about the WBC's "Thank God for 9/11" message.

I think what SD is saying is that if you're going to agree or disagree with what you've been spoon-fed all your life, you should come up with your opinion on your own.

-It is garbage.
-You were spoonfed if you're just believing it because you were taught it.
-I actually have legitimate points to back it up.
-I don't have to drop this. You can't tell me what to do.
-They are crazy idiots.
-If they think they're doing the right thing, then that's their problem.
-But I do agree that we shouldn't talk too much about religion on here.
