Patrol Duty

At my school, starting with my class (6B), 6 students have to do Patrol Duty. I have it this week. It's very cold and boring.

Discuss Patrol Duty and stuff you have to do at school.

Re: Patrol Duty

If you don't mind me asking, what's Patrol Duty?

Re: Patrol Duty

The duty in which you cross people on the cross-walk using flags that say "STOP" and wearing highliter-green shirts. In my city/state, it is illegal for a school to not do this. I have to go in the morning and after school.

Re: Patrol Duty

Well, I'm in Middle School. It's not like the second graders do it. Also, there is always an adult there to tell cars when to go/stop.

Re: Patrol Duty

Another reason why the Wise are homeschooled.  That probably includes Gandalf.  I can't imagine they had schools in like 5 F.A.

Re: Patrol Duty

I like my school. I never get in trouble anymore. I wouldn't want to be homeschooled anyway. I don't have to do it for weeks after today.  smile

Re: Patrol Duty

No one cares about safeties. At my elementary school we would torment them and they wouldn't do anything. The most they would do is say they would report us. Reminds me of something...nah, I'm not going there.
