At my school, the 7th grade class is fairly well behaved, but a few aren't and "run wild" (in the words of the principal). Those few caused the principal to go all out at punishing us. Here is what is happening to us:

-No break, P.E, or lunch (in the cafeteria at least), and we stay in one classroom for the whole day for at least a week

-After that, we start "rotating classes" again, but still no break, and lunch in the classroom for another week

- And after that, we get break back, but silent lunch for a week

Not to mention we have to have "adult supervision" in the bathrooms this whole time! -.-All this is happening for what about 30 out of 187 kids are doing! This is ridiculous!

Discuss times that your school has gone overboard in punishing.

I usually avoid the school bathrooms, but they just made sure I will.....

Things like that happen to my school occasionally. That seemed to be how my elementary school worked.

My elementary school was pretty lenient with this type of stuff, but the intermediate and middle school aren't.

Jesus, this is strict, I go to a pretty rough school in Anglais (Latin/Old English word for England) surrounded by council estates, and we never have stuff this bad. If a few people are [removed] around, the offenders stay behind, (or come back at break/lunch if not before any of the breaktimes) and if it is before break/lunch (2nd/4th period) the class gets held up for 5mins, and then people are told to go gradually, and then the offenders are held up. We don't have militarain, primary-school level overkill, long-term discpline.

Fact: f219's school is probably employing peadophiles on parole to 'supervise' the holy throne room xD

I am glad I left Elementary last year and I am in 6th grade. The new principal that replaced our retiring principal last year around this time is stricter, and she is not enforcing bullying as much. And she is fairing out punishments. So yeah, the elementary I went to is becoming corrupt.

I've never had a bad direct experience, but school systems need to think more of the kids.

Its sad how money is everything.

The kids enjoy their band program.
Honor the athletic kids.

The buses are kind of packed.
Cut the school bus budget.

Our teachers aren't very fun or in a good mood to spread to their students.
Cut some money for the higher ups.

Really, I could name so much more. hmm

Sure, the economy is bad, but the school department could be a little less stupid and selfish.
