You can.
The easiest way is to get into M.I.T. and then apply for it and stuff.
Okay, that may not be the easiest, but it's the easiest to type.
Cheddar did it. Just be a mod, and then help out a LOT LOT and then you might get promoted.

Well, all but I believe two or three members with the ST title are a part of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT. andresmh worked on the ScratchR platform the site uses. Paddle2See has been closely involved with the community for a long time and is more of a super-moderator than an ST member. The same goes for cheddargirl.

I've been on the forums for more than a day and I really don't think I have a chance at being part of the scratch team.

Well, you have to be 13 + to be a mod, first off. Second, it would help if you were on longer so more people would know you and vote for you.

No. Cheddargirl and P2S were appointed mods at the beginning of Scratch. 4 hours won't help much. I've been on for nearly two years and some people have been on for nearly four years, but most of us haven't been nor ever will be mods, let alone admins.

I guess I get on well with the Scratch Team. To get into the Scratch Team you have to be a MIT undergraduate

Um, I think that you go to MIT, go for either graphics design or programming, and get yourself on the team that does Scratch. When you get there, can you merge it with Starlogo? The idea was cool, but it lacked the nice Scratch-y feel to it, and it didn't have the same community. Like you guys.

At this point in time, we are not looking to expand the Scratch Team (with the exception of MIT undergraduates who are interested in joining us as part of the UROP).

I asked about this. I haven't been aloud to join the Scratch Team, but they said that I could do some testing.

Wanna know how to do it?
It's very easy.
Step 1: Hop on one leg.
Step 2: Spin around in a circle and clap your hands twice.
Step 3: ????
Step 4: PROFIT!
