The Minecraft Triathlon!
Time and date to be announced.
The Minecraft Triathlon will consist of three Minecraft sports: Spleef, Parkour, and PvP.  Players will compete in these events to earn points, and the competitor with the most points wins eternal fame and glory (and a prize of BladeBux, the server currency)!

Each event will be triple-elimination.  This means that at the start of each round, competitors will be randomly paired up and compete against each other in the given event.  [If there are an odd number of players in one round, one random player will automatically advance.]  The loser of the match will receive one strike; after three strikes, the player is eliminated from that particular event of the tournament.  Each player will receive one point for each round that he/she survived.

Event 1: Spleef
Spleef will be held in a 20x20 arena, with a glass floor two layers thick.  Players may only use their fists to break the glass and may not place any blocks.  The first player to fall through a gap in the floor loses.  If the referee determines that neither player is able to break any blocks near his/her opponent, sudden death on a two-layer decaying leaf field will occur, and the first to fall through a gap in the floor loses.

Event 2: Parkour
Parkour will be held in a special two-lane arena containing obstacles that players must jump over in order to win.  The first player to complete the course will win the match.

Event 3: PvP
PvP will be held in a special arena containing various structures so that players may climb, hide, etc.  Players will be given a set of diamond armor, diamond swords, a bow, and 64 arrows.  The first player to die loses.

As was mentioned earlier, the player with the highest combined total of rounds survived wins.  Here are the prizes:
First place: $300 BladeBux.
Second place: $150 BladeBux.
Third place: $100 BladeBux.
Fourth place: $50 BladeBux.
Fifth place: $30 BladeBux.
Sixth place: $10 BladeBux.

Currently accepting entries!  Only eight players will be allowed to compete!
