EDIT: I am NOT buying that. Looks boring. No, it's fun. Even IGN says it's better.
Yeah, but I am only allowed to buy one game per month and this month I am bent on Minecraft.
I get like one or two a year.

Yeah, my dad made my make a huge deal, and if I don't complete it i don't get to buy one. And anyway most CD shops have it really cheap since they are pirated around 50 RM which is about 11.63 Euro, but an original game costs about 200 RM which is 46.51 Euro. And anyway, I don't even want one game per month, two games every four months is fine.
All conversions were made at Coinmill
Dad still has not agreed to buying it, so I keep on telling him the good stuff of getting it, the best being that I won't annoy him for a least 3 more months because Minecraft its gonna be taking up my weekend, since I will get so little time to play.

If it does, I am not getting it.
And if I have to pay for extensions then I am going to save up and whenever a extension comes out I am gonna get it.

Minecraft is epic. :] My brother bought it for me last Christmas, and so now we play it with each other a lot. It's worth the wait and the money!

Does the stuff I build stay in my world?
Yep Stays, as long as you use that world.
CREATIVE MODE FTW!!!
Creative mode is basically just Classic. Which is what I play (due to extremely rare buying of games, I don't have MC). In fact, I'll go to it right after posting this. Beta's overrated.

Meh, Classic is what got me hooked to MC.

Need any tips? I'll be glad to give some.

Notch is crash landing minecraft, just found out that endermen DON'T drop what they're holding on death (woops, there goes my obsidian wall), seeming I killed them all on sight because I just hated griefing mobs I never got to learn much about them, now in a PvP map I have to build and deal with people AND mobs destroying it and rebuilding before the next wave.
Once notch makes it more moddable then I'll be happy, first off creepers and endermen can pack their stuff and choke on their own blocky vomit in their sleep, then I will add a source of enderpearls and gunpowder. Then I will get a mod which makes combat bear-able.

Somehow I barely got anything you just said. Other then the Endermen part.

Minecraft is very linear, you're restricted by a lot. Yeah, there's a lot of gameplay, but once you've done it all you start to regret buying it, until the next update, which makes 1-10 hours of gameplay more bearable.

Mods, servers and server plugins. Remember to run your own server, rather than use someone elses

If everyone followed that advice there would be no servers, as everyone's running their own instead of joining one.
Minecraft MP is highly bugged and unpolished, you need an amazing server to have no lag for up to 3 people.

I actually do plan to make my own server, maybe around Christmas. I also plan start a new world in Minecraft around Christmas as well, then make game play videos in the new world and have a ''Lets Play Minecraft'' kinda thing on youtube. And also join a few servers, hopefully full of Scratchers.

It is, once you've done it all that's it, you get bored with it really quickly.
I guess you could build a better house, but for what? You're bored of it.

Yeah, but you can never really experience it all in Minecraft. I mean it can always render up some new area's. And then mods can always make your game fun, especially if you are bored. Like lets say you have single player commands, you could just spawn a thousand creepers and see what happens.
Also for everyone else I AM GETTING MINECRAFT THIS FRIDAY! YES THIS AWESOME FIRDAY OF AWESOMENESS!

There are 26 made and planned mobs in Minecraft, while there are about 47 mobs in Terraria.
There are 6 different weapons in Minecraft (5 being the same thing) while there are 70 in Terraria.
There are 7 biomes in Minecraft, while there are 12 in Terraria.
Terraria has a lot more to offer than Minecraft. If you're looking for a game that has a lot to explore, Terraria is right for you. You can do all sorts of things in Terraria, like practice sorcery, be an adventurer, fight monsters for money, etc. But Terraria is a lot more awesome, and this is from a guy who's played Minecraft since last October and Terraria since this August.

Terraria has an end which is stupidly easy to reach.
Minecraft has some more playability, even though it has less.
Terraria was just horrible, they nerfed everything, like rocket boots, how were they ever overpowered?
