a personal blog
My suggestion, is that each menber has a personal blog where each person can write whatever he wants, or upload a musical video.
This way, more menbers will join Scratch and more people will visit it's pages and projects.
So, if you include blogs on each menbers personal page it will increase scratch's popularity.

That would be cool to have an area where you could just write whatever you wanted about yourself or what you were working on! It has been discussed before. One concern is that it would be yet another area that would have to be monitored for inappropriate content so it would be more work for the Admins and the general public.
I think you could accomplish much of what you are looking for if you could somehow designate one of your projects as your "blog" project. Maybe it would be a link right under your avatar. Basically, it would be a way for each person to "feature" one of their projects right on their My Stuff page. It wouldn't be any extra work to monitor as it would just be another project. What do you think of that idea?
