Anyone remember this game? I had it ages ago (probably still do, somewhere), can't remember how I got it. Anyway, when I first played it I got through one level and thought "oh my god, this game is so boring" but then I found the chao garden key. I spent any time I had free on this game, raising and training chaos in order to win races, making super chaos, getting rare items and it was probably the best game I'd ever played on the gamecube. I got hardly anywhere in the storyline, all I really wanted was to get the tubes to give to my chaos. I must admit though, it was a creepy game at times. It felt like I'd just walked into the development office and stolen the disc, many parts of it were glitched and it had this eerie feel to it. Most 3D sonic games make me feel depressed when I'm staying behind in an area to find secret stuff, as you can tell the map was made for a high speed run because the textures are so bad and everything over-reacts. This game had me hooked for about 5 months, I had been playing with 5 other friends (some of which had the GBA version of the game, so we could trade chaos) and once we had done the whole thing we started to hack it to bits with AR max, we had a garden with 70 chaos in the end, most of which had 100 running and stamina.
Very fun game, it was put into a box which had all the stuff I wanted to sell once (apparently my mum knows what I want to sell better than I do) and I never played for 2 years, later on at a bootfair I found it again, and only for £2. It does bring back a lot of memories just looking at the picture for it, it's one of those games which you remember playing and being addicted to but you're bored of it and you know everything about it so you're not able to get addicted again. Anyone else ever played this game?

BEST GAME EVER PERIOD.
I got it about six years ago for the GC, but over time, it got all scratched up. I tried taking the scratches out, but ended up melting it (don't ask). I imediately bought another one at GameStop. Works good, and I play it almost every day

Was a crazy game, it felt half-complete though.
Wonder if they ever made a sequel.

Still have it. In fact, I was playing it yesterday. In fact, right now I'm playing Black Ops on the Wii and I had to take out SA2 to do that. In fact, I love that game. In fact, that is my favorite Sonic Game. In fact, that is the Gamecube game I spent most time on. In fact, I am chaining these events together with "in facts", aren't I?
But seriously. When I think of Gamecube, I think of three games: Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and SA2. Those are the three games I could spend hours on. I would spend hours and hours just in the chao garden. I have NO IDEA how I did it. I guess because I was little I was easily entertained? Honestly, I think it might be online play that spoiled it. I love online play, but nowadays I think the only true playability keeping you coming back most of the time is just online play. And they somewhat did make a sequel. It's a little beauty I like to call...Sonic The Hedgehog Next Gen. Jk. Bad game.

erm, the game was a sequel. A sequel to Sonic Adventure DX, which I have. It's a great game, but not near as great as SA2B.

I've lost interest with sonic, it's like a big web of random games which seem to have little or no relation to any other sonic game.
Just started playing again, I remember just playing as Dr.Eggman and playing level 1 all the time for the rings and skill tubes and not even unlocking anyone else.
Now games are just lots of fancy graphics with very little gameplay, nice to see nintendo aren't stooping down like that, sad that they're failing though. Having to choose between the storyline or chao garden because I haven't got a memory card yet, it's a tough call.
