Not everything was fake. 
TDD is inactive, GLaDOS2 sign out and so did Alternatives.
But they quit a while ago.

For the most part, it was a joke that ended up triggering a bandwagon effect, with tons of people posting topics on the subject. Some jumped in on the joke, others seriously considering quitting or even said that they would, and others just made threads to discuss it. It turned into a pretty big mess, so we closed down all the quitting topics. Unfortunately, this topic is included in that. Sorry.
