Power outages

I live south of Boston and had a horrible power outage for five days. Most people in town got it back the next day, but I was stuck without it for a while. Did anyone else lose power this weekend?

And usually my house is the first to lose power on my street!  yikes

I once was out of power for a week, and it took 3 days for them to clear out a tree blocking all of a major road. Conveniently, A hurricane hit Texas, all the crews went down to help, then the remains of the hurricane (hurricane force winds, but no rain) swept up to OHIO and we were out of power for a week.

Not me, I had power all weekend. Then again, it's pretty rare for people living in New York City to lose power during inclement weather - most of the electric cables in NYC are underground and usually not exposed, save for some areas.

I lost power for 5+ hours last November when a huge snowstorm hit my area.
