I have some difficult homework, please help me to solve 2 algebra questions:1. A sum of money amounting to $4.50 consists of dimes and quarters. If there are 21 coins in all, how many are quarters?
2. a college student earned $5400 during summer vacation working as a waiter in a popular restaurant. The student invested part of the money at 8% and the rest at 6%. If the student received a total of $370 in interest at the end of the year, how much was invested at 8%?

jinakin, usually posts like this that are unrelated to Scratch would go in the Miscellaneous forum. Unfortunately, you're a 'New Scratcher' and aren't allowed to post there yet, so I can't move this topic there for you and have to close it.
I'm sorry you can't get help with your math homework, but there's probably somewhere else where you might get better help with your problems anyway. If you really don't understand it, do your best and ask your teacher or someone else who understands the subject the next chance you get.
