In order to create new buildings, you must create all of the resources, have them made into parts, and then built, all by your little NPC minions. By climbing the technology ladder, you can begin to develop new things such as metalworking or gunpowder. You can get more resources by trading, or you can conquer enemy (other players, I came up with a neat idea to use dropbox as a server host) cities to become the top ranking player.

funny, I was looking at AlienWare laptops earlier today.

Try searching up "paying jobs for 13 year olds" on a search engine like Google. You'll get a bunch of websites that offer many good suggestions on how to make money regardless of your age.

I'm looking for something that can eventually, in a reasonable amount of time make a few hundred, although I'm probably being somewhat overoptimistic unless I create a game.
