ScratchMessenger

I'd like to announce (Just because I want it to be popular  tongue ) that I have created the FIRST ever (in scratch) Messenger! This allows you to send "Private" messages to people.  big_smile  The way it work is when you have "Remote Sensors" enabled and have the Scratch Messenger Project opened. You can send them a message! To do this you need the ScratchMessenger Python File and need nearly no programming exp in python.

There is a "Tutorial" inside the python file on how to send a message...

1. Open up ScratchMessenger Python File

(Skip 2 If You just want to send a message to your self)
2. Edit the IP address also know as "Host". Edit The inside of the ' '/127.0.0.1 and change it to the IP address to the computer you want to send it too. I'm not sure what the "Port" is for or how to use it so I'd just leave it alone...

3. Scroll Down To "Message" Then put your message in the ' ' (You MUST have - or _ or something else BESIDES a space). Then Do the same thing for the "From" one. but instead type who it's from. (Don't use your real name use your scratch name if sending it to a scratch member...) Then change the Subject to what you want. OPTIONAL: you can do the same for "To". Then your done  big_smile  NOOT haha

4. Then save then run it and it should say "Connecting..." then "Connected" then say "Sending Message: (message) Subject: (subject) From: (From) To: (IP Address and to)
then "Message Sent!"

Wow. A 4 step tutorial. I've seen 7 for Rubiks cubes... Oh and the web page is here: http://scratchconnections.wik.is/User:Magnie/Scratch_Messenger Have Fun!

Re: ScratchMessenger

Hmmm Currently you can't. But I'll take it as a suggestion! I'll try to work on it so can happen  smile  To be able to do that you have to send it to first person then change IP then second then change IP then Third. 1 question. Why are you wondering?
