I had made a minecraft Text-Based RPG, but it didn't last long. Do you think it's a good idea? I was thinking of each person maybe making their own single player game on the REAL game, and then use what they do on the Single Player game, and use that on the RPG, then add more things to play on the RPG. I still need help working out the details. Any suggestions?

Er... I don't really think that Minecraft would work as a text-based RPG.

I was thinking that at first as well, but I was just thinking of ideas to make it different from most TBGs.

Well, if no one can think of an idea, then I wont do it. I think that's how it's going to turn out.

The problem with a TBG, is that you can just say "I find a diamond. I also find 4 redstone." where as in the real game, you have to actually find find it, and it's harder since maps are randomly generated...
That's the problem I'm running into. That's why I was thinking of having people play the real game, and then putting what they do, into the RPG.

Well, 1) Some people might not have the real game,
2) they could just cheat and say random stuff...
