Ok guys. I think it's time to let me in the dropbox. How does getting the password work?
You get a mailinator address, give us the alternate email, and blob will mail it to you. Mailinator deletes stuff after a few hours, so try to be on time.
BTW, I agree with blob. I actually had the same thought as him, but he said it first.

See my earlier post explaining it in detail.

Two ideas:
1. What about asking a member of the scratch wiki to make a topic about us? Why not? Many scratch companies have that.
2. What about removing all the old drafts of our first game from our main account (Team_Earth), so only the full game would be there anymore. Why? Just because I think it looks more professional and people won't get confused, because they think there would be four different games.

These are great ideas! Especially the first one. We can write about our humble begginings
.
Hey guys, I updated our TeamEarth Elite Trailer. I added all of our 15 members' icons, but I still need an Eilte poster. If nobody does it, then I will make one.

Ok. Please sent it to dbsproductions@mailinator.com
Could you make a new one, and post the alternate address instead? (:

The Scratch account, yes? You could do what dasbloekendeschaf suggested, then.

Ok guys, we need to get cracking...our first step is that Blob (or whoever has played Elite befor) needs to create a list of sprites and backgrounds for the artists to make so we can get started. Also, Maximanz- can you start working with Ads to create a trailer? Programmers, keep brainstorming, and make sure you have ideas. Blob, I know that you said that we should not have roles and everyone just help out everyone, but I think we should just start like this and let things play out.

Has anyone else managed to play Elite? Would be really helpful...

That's not precisely what I meant — just that people shouldn't feel constrained to only do one thing. If someone's got the skills to make primarily music or art, go for it.

Okay blob, I think I can make a spaceship in 3ds max 12. Maybe I can upload the files to dropbox, then you can download them, convert them to blender (if that's possible). I'm not sure if I know how to make MAXscript render every angle of an object on two axes by 36 degrees. That way, you can do the rendering in Python.
Okay, I did a little bit of research. I may be able to save my spaceship as a .obj or .lwo file, whichever's best in Blender. Or maybe I can save it as a .dae file using COLLADA. That seems like a better option. Then you can import it into blender, and do all the scripting and rendering. Right?

There seem to be a whole bunch of very confused Scratchers (Like me) that were notified and brought to this forum, but aren't on any of the member's lists and aren't really participating. So to clear things up- Am I a part of this or not? I'm pretty good at making sprites and other stuff, but my specialty is programming. I can understand you not wanting to have too many people working on this, but if so, why did you invite so many?

We only invited 4 in total. We can manage our numbers. If you are feeling confusing, don't be afraid to ask. Everyone who is part of Team Earth is part of every project. So, to answer your question, yes you are part of this. If don't know already what we are doing, we are making a remake of the game "Elite" (full details discussed a few pages back). After Blob, provides a list of sprites we need, you can help out on making those. After we are done with the sprites, you can help out with the programming. If you still feel confused, just bear with us- wait a couple of weeks and you will learn the flow of Team Earth.
